If you consider yourself any type of foodie and you are visiting Barcelona, you probably already have La Boqueria mapped. Or maybe you are staying in a short term apartment during your Barcelona holiday and need to go to the supermarket for some basics. 

And then you discover that everything is in Catalan... uh oh. Sure, people also speak Castellano here, but most in-store advertising or produce name tags are in Catalan. And no doubt you'll get the better apple from the fruit stand if you can say "poma" instead of "manzana." 

So, here are some basic grocery list items in Catalan.
